Here is what I wish this game had: -AI dinos in single player -passive and xp based growth or just no growth at all -Making online play more of an option than a requirement to have fun -Full dino skin customization and saving, perhaps the feature to make your custom skins public for others to use -Full home cave customization -Maybe the ability to toggle personal pvp in online play where you don't take damage but you also can't deliver damage and also don't heal, so you can just chill with other dinos without cheating -No water quality thing -DRAGONS -EMOTES such as dino dances or a tail wag or something

I agree about quests and AI dinos. Singleplayer is boring but multiplayer is bit toxic. I hope devs will work on that bc overall its a really fun game

Watching this while Im starting the many hour download of the game. I hit 6k hours on Evolved and decided to give Ascended a try. Evolved servers are a ghost town and I missed playing Ark so bad.

Leveling your base is definitely worth it early game, you can unlock more bases. Not great to manage multiple bases, but you can play a pal box near specific resources like coal, sulfur and quarts and be able to fast travel to that location.

You can find higher tier spheres in the debris piles. Get a heat resistant armor and undershirt, use a bird or wolf to quickly move around the volcano, hitting chest and piles. You still won’t get a jetragon, but you can get some lesser birds that are still fast and still have a chance to catch without fighting them. Get a high lvl ragna wtf ever it’s called or something, still better than a nitewing. I like the suzaku from the desert island, great speed and stamina.

The lower levels do eventually drop off. Like using a blue to catch a high 20/ low 30 can work, occasionally. But you’ll get a flat 0.00 on 45-55 and the sphere is just wasted.

Didn't mention that you had to level the bird so he has enough stamina and you dont get the saddle until level 30s

I love both maps bur i feel like panjura is more realistic and matches the era but gondwa feels like its not realistic. Plus gondwa has pockets of population with most of the map feeling empty but in panjura theres a chance of finding someone anywhere. I love both of em though

If you are a beginner do not go into the snow biome in order to tame. The further north you go, the more powerful the dinos are.

I think the sucho is the best dinosaur if you are a solo player, he is not an apex because if you are an apex you can't play solo, you are a big target and usually the other apexes are in duos. The sucho has good stamina, good speed and you can escape from apexes easily, you can also use water because it is a semi aquatic, you can use the bite for small opponents which you can hit less times and the claw barrage for bigger opponents that can't run away from you, the tail attack is very good if you are being attacked by a group of small dinosaurs and the stomp is effective and you can do it a lot of times; the turning radius is good and also the turn in place but the tail will be your best friend.
